Just thought I would post up about killing a couple of GT's. I know everyone on here has killed at least one.......................:biglaugh:
I'm driving home from the golf course when I see a bright orange 2000 mustang GT. (guessing at the year) I pull in and get some gas right beside him. I ask him" Do you think your car will out run my car?" He saids kind of embarassed like" I don't know, but I think it will." I reply back (not arrogantly, but matter of fact like) "No it won't, it won't even be close." He just looks at me in amazement. I ask him if he would like to run once we get out of the city limits. He saids sure.
We're in third gear at about 60mph.(my dash has kilometers) He punches it first and I pull on him like he's pulling a truck behind him. I slow back down and the passenger is laughing and the driver is shocked. We go again, this time I let him get about a car length ahead, and then I punch it. By the end of fourth gear I've pulled about a hundred yards on him. I just couldn't believe his car could look so good and be so slow......................lol
The other race was against a 1998 cobra. It wasn't close either. He actually looked over at me and smirked when I revved my car up. He went to third and punched it. I pulled on him like he had a four cylinder. He quit at about 90 and I was probably ten car lengths ahead of him. He wouldn't ever come back up beside me. He pulled in behind me and slowed down................:biglaugh:
