View Full Version : New wheels and painted trim

Just got my tires mounted on my freshly powdercoated MKIV NA wheels today! For tires I have Michelin Pilot Sports in front(225-50-zr16) in the rear I have Yokohama Avid V4S's(245-50-vr16) Also note that my 89+ trim is painted flat black...It was white but it was drawing too much attention and seemed "flashy". Sorry the car is so dirty, just got home from Europe yesterday and didn't get a chance to wash her! Hope you all like em!

Very different and unique colours! I was looking at the pics for a while and your car makes things around it look like they are almost in night time. Those wheels are sooo black! And shiney black. Good job.

Wow - all you need is some lettering in a dark grey that says "No step" & "Caution, air intake" and it'll look like a military stealth setup. :)

Love that color mix.... but man you need to take more pictures, and wash your car ( including under the wheel wells )! :P Looks nice!

Shhh... no one is supposed to see under the wheel wells...shhh

I just got some paint for the center caps and will wash the car and take some more pics after that. Thanks for the feedback! Im also gonna get some VHT nightshade for the sidemarkers. :biggrinbo

Do it the easy way. Spray som Armor All in your wheel wells, makes them look shiny clean & only takes a few seconds. Also, the Armor All will loosen the grime, so the next time it rains, the water spraying off oy your wheels will power wash the grime out.

I have Eibach springs. I like the raked look better than the slammed look.
