This morning as I was driving to work on I-5 I did a 5th gear pass on a semi-truck that was in front of me after a faster car passed me and the truck on the left. As I was passing the truck in 5th, it sounded like my car made a strange noise. So after I pass the truck, I let off and get back in the right lane. The sound grows louder! Then I realize it is in no way matching my engine. I look over my left shoulder, and I see this 2000 Honda Civic Si buzz past me. The kid inside is making some sort of signal with his hand... I look closer, and he's like mouthing the words, "Pathetic". ... Ok... um, yeah sure.

I ignore it, because I was kind of tired. Pretty soon I catch back up with him in trafic, and as soon as a slow moving person pulls into the right lane, he shifts down and takes off. I don't even get on it, just pull back into the right lane. He turns his freaking 4-ways on!! (is this a Honda thing?) About a mile farther down the road, again slow trafic has me catching up with him. Well, I'll try anything to stay awake, and this kid has it coming.

I drop down into 3rd, going about 55. I know that as soon as the slow moving car in front of both of us pulls to the right, this kid is going to floor it again. Sure enough, he shifts down. I wait... the car pulls off to the right, and he hits it. I just floor it. My car runs up on his bumper so fast I hit the steering wheel hard to the right, then back to the left, shift into 4th, and hit about 120. He's so far back there I can't count the car lenths.

I slow up, and put on my cruise control. About 15 seconds later... WWWEEEEEERRRRRRRRR"OWWWWWWWW I drop into 4th, floor it, pass him again as he's trying to keep in front of me, this time I'm doing roughly 135. No problem, pass him, pull in front of him, then turn on my 4-ways...

I think its just the drivers that are retards. Some people have never actually experienced anything that could be classified as fast. Like, as I type this why does the kid across the street from me drive like a moron. (Civic owner) coincidence? Let me redline first and second with my awesome intake and weld on muffler. Congrats buddy, you just hit 30mph in 6 seconds. WinnaR! I cant say its brand related or an age thing, because its not. Like why would someone in a spec v try to race me on my 1000cc bike, down the highway. Uhhhh hello, no chance there. Another kid tells me his civic si pulls camEros. No sorry, maybe a v6. He was insistant that it was a v8. I could go on and on about these retards. Theyll never learn, and it just hurts my brain to try to explain how it really is. I usually just ignore them and laugh as they think their 160hp of fury is actually fast. Sometimes it is fun to put them in their place though.

If autozone would quit selling them crap it would end almost instantly, they can't order online all thier money is tied up in thier POS. haha, I actually have one of those mods... the B16A, built to handle over 9500rpm. it's a race car, not comfortable to drive on the road, although hit is still street legal. And, I ate up a Supra turbo with it... then I bought the Supra;-)

For every 10 Honda ricers, there is 1 nice Civic (at least around here). There is one at my work that is simple, black, lowered, and a CF hood, looks pretty damn clean. I rolled beside him one day on the highway, he noticed me from worked, waved, and went on his way. So the Civics aren't really the problem, it's the stupid people that drive them. There is also a turbo Civic around here that is pretty clean as well.

BTW, I hate how these ricers give us young people a bad rep.

NSX's have top end......There is one around here that destroyed a modded STI from like a 45 roll. But when they raced from a dig, the STI was walking away until about 55-60ish. I am not sure if the NSX was stock....... I bet that if you have atleast a 57 trim you would walk away from that NSX until about 100-120. (nice kill bro)

I'd take an MR-2 GTS over an NSX, why well for one mr-2 with the t tops and 3sgte engine are a lot of fun, very capable track cars, and they are toyota's.

I want several cars I want an MK4, MK3 1JZ-GTE, MK3 7M-GTE (already own one of these), Chaser, Soarer, and MR-2 turbo t top.
