let me start out with what I've got. 86.5 gte swap, P&P head everything, na cam, EBC (@ 12) 3" from the turbo back... looks slow and shitty. theres this meet around the corner from me that I frequent, way more bullshiting than racing going on, and it's roll racing when it happens. Anyways this guy in a teg who'd come out pretty often was Trying to pick a race with an uber rice sohc turbo'd (cryo'd also... don't ask me) he just wouldn't race, and when I overheard how much he was looking for a run I didn't want to dissapoint, so I told 'em "I'll be your huckleberry" and all he wanted to know was if I was turbo... sure. At this point I had thought he was turbo as well, I had seen him take an STI by a car length so I figured it'd be an intresting race. He said he wanted a 40 roll, I was like sure, but you'll have to honk cuz my speedo is off and my horn doesn't work. So we get on the highway and line up with a few people behind us, we get to what I suppose is 40 and he starts the honk, well obviously he gets the jump and pulls a half a car length... that's all he got tho, I stayed even till the turbo spooled all the way (leaking RMS I can't risk a clutch drop). not even 5 seconds and he was at my rear bumper, no question what was going to happen, I went to the next gear and put a car or 2 on him so there was no question and then let off. We turned back. When we got to the lot he was soo perplexed "that's not stock" he was cool tho, no excuses, no "next time" just utter surprise. twice the displacement and a turbo, why is it so perplexing that an older supra could do anything more than hang? maybe it's my OBX muffler and chipping paint, I have half a mind to go grab a bleacher seat and those lil windshield washer lights, make people feel like they've gotten beat by a retarted kid.... BTW I don't know how the hell he beat and STI, my GTO used to have trouble with them even on highway pulls.

I was tempting for a while to throw on one of those stock civic exhaust with the 1.5 inch exits and run open downpipe. So when im parked people see the exhaust....... mean while BIC DDP.....

How about just no exhaust and have open DP, I mean really that saves ya 15 to 20 pounds having no exhaust, and civic anything on a supra is GAY

sti's aren't that fast.... i can almost keep up w/ my buddies modded sti (cobb access port, invidia divorced DP, 3" turbo back, K&N cai)... he pulls like 3 cars on me by top of 3rd

I didn't say they were all that fast, but they shouldn't lose to integra's. STi is fun if you like dropping axles to do tune ups, if ya like breaking trannies a lot, and if you love to be like all the other ricers with brand new cars.

I'd rather have a mk4 or an RX7 FD3S, If I went all wheel I'd go EVO more than likely or a R-32 or R-33 if I could find one. Not much of an STi fan.

you sound like you've got a vendetta against the scooby-doo, I thought they were quick cars, not my cup of tea tho. It was an 06 sti also, I don't know if they're any quicker than the previous model... sure uglier tho

LOL well its too out of place, remember there being an mk3 rally car for a few desert races, I doubt it did well though. Hey man my dad stole some KC lights when his security company decided not to pay them all he ended up with body armor, weapons, clothes, and some KC lights and LED police lights meant for thier armored tahoes. I'll give ya a deal, LMAO.
