What's good Cali? My car is currently for sale here in Florida but I have a young gentleman in Orange County that is looking to pick it up. Here in Florida, we don't have any emission testing so most of our cars, including mine, don't have catalytic converters or any other emission parts installed. I'm selling a 1991 Supra Turbo. The car doesn't have the charcoal canister, any of the vsv's, egr is blocked, and there is no cat.

Here's the question. What does this guy have to do to get the car registered and legal in California? Thanks for any help in advance!

Put all the smog stuff back on or find someone with a smog shop he can pay off. Orange county though, Im sure theres a few shops thatll do it.

You've got to get it smogged to transfer registration.
You have to pass a visual inspection, so all the smog equipment, especially the cat. has to be on.
Then there's the emissions test which is in two parts. One at idle, and one at 25mph if I remember right. Check out the link:

I paid $150 before I sold my '88 turbo.
