Help me out.........I'm OLD.

Does this trance music require drugs???????

Remember tho, I'm a child of the 60's

Northstar24
10-01-2006, 06:31 PM
Trance does not require drugs, it just tends to have a synthetic sound to it. I am a fan of Tiesto Ivan Van Dahl and the like, but most of my friends that are into the whole rock or rap thing cannot stand that Trance comes out of the speakers in the Soup....too bad cause there are some quailty songs

Rock is good too though

"The distance" by Cake - definately FTW
Tom Petty's greatet hits disc
Click Click Boom by Saliva
Song 2 by Blur
Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz <= self proclaimed theme song of my Soup by its previous owner (who happens to be by best friend)

Those are just a few off the top of my head :icon_bigg

A lot of the songs mentioned are great, my favourite at the moment is Van Halen - Ain't talkin' 'bout love. I dont think there is a better opening to any song in history than that one! :) A7x also has some top music.

Although this next song isn't Rock, i think it deserves some place.. as nothing I think is a better cruise song than Rick Ross - Push It... if that doesn't psych you up, I dont know what will :).

For some reason, Godsmack - Moonbaby gets me fired up... Not to mention it sounds badass on a good system (the kick drums are sharp, the guitars are hard, it just makes me warm and fuzzy all over)...

Most rock is gay. hay let's get some Nickleback CD's guyz! Seriously though, I listen to All Shall Perish, August Burns Red, Bring Me The Horizon, Whitechapel, I Killed The Prom Queen etc. Rock is pretty good, it just depends on who the bands are.
