i just recently got a great deal on a 1jz-5 speed clip w/drive shaft and diff. i know im gonna need the BIC motor mounts, use my n/a auto 7m radiator (its new). i was gonna go with the 2jz ps line/ac line, throttle cable and 2jz water pump.
What else am i missing?
What else am i going to need ?

you need the 2zj ps line
you can use the top of your 7m ac housing, but you'll need to grind the ps bracket.
you may need the lhd drive pedals, I had them for my swap so we didn't even try the rhd pedals.
turbo fuel pump?

sweet, good thing i am saving all this info for my swap. i should have my clip in two weeks and im goinna store it in a storage unit until i get the time to do it. is there anything from the clip ill need besides the intercooler, piping, etc. ?
would i still need to trade out my 87 crossmember for a 89+ if im doing the BIC motor mounts ?

When i get the engine in the bay and the ECU under the dash, does the body harness plug right in, or do i have to cut and splice everything together ?

The engine harness need to be extended 18" to reach the pass side of the car (where the computer is) you can make a jumper harness with the chassis plugs off your 7M and the Coresponding clips in your clip, that way you don't have to cut and splice things.

That's the "Jumper Harness" I spoke of. You make a Hybrid from the body plugs on the 7m engine harness and the plugs from the 1JZ body harness in the clip and that way there is no cutting and splicing...just plug and play.

i pulled the two 8 gauge alternator wire's out of the clip.i ran it in with my harness and attached it into the fuse box.trying to keep a clean factory look.i actually kept alot of part's off the clip, like the suspension and brake part's.once you start digging threw it,you'll find part's that work for lhd too
