Calculating sub box volume

My sub calls for a .85 cubic foot sealed box. If, hypothetically, my internal box dimensions were 12"x12"x12", would my box volume be 1 cubic foot or would it be 1 cubic foot minus the volume of the speaker cone?

it would be 1 ft^3 minus the volume of the back of the sub (magnet, basket, ect) You do have to take in account for it.
