Okay, so the engine needs to be wired up (easy). Also needs a driveshaft to mate the transmission and rear.

It's going to be a bitch to go single when the turbo sits that far back!

Will come with radiator.

All A/C lines and equipment are still present on the car.

Clean title, one accident reported to driver's side front area, since fixed.
No other issues found through the vehicle report.

What'cha think?

J.K. Racer. I seen it on ebay, but I was wondering why they didn't finish hooking it up. I hope you get it running soon. That thing will be a rocket.............lol

omg 3000?

The thing that scares me about this car is that there is like no information about what has been done to it. For all you could it could be a big POS. However, I hope that it works out for you.

If you need any MK2+1jz help, let me know.

I will definately need some MK2+1jz help, especially with parts. I'd also like to know about where some of the vacuum hoses go, a/c lines/compressor, coolant lines, etc, as this'll be my first 1jz motor to play with.

As far as what's been done to it, I'll just have to get it and see.

I don't consider $3000 a bad price for the car and the condition it's in, with the 1j already in there. I've wanted a MKII for the longest time, and I wanted a car with a great interior for it's age; this car had it. The outside condition actually isn't that bad, it's just not painted. I can get the body looking great with some good paint. The shaved areas are fine with me, I actually like it. The shaved areas are not tacky or ricey. As far as reversing some of the things that have been done, I am willing to work with it. I wanted a car not many people had and this car with the 1j, is it. If the 1j dissapoints me, then I have a spare 7MGTE in my garage.

As far as the claims of "ball-bearing turbos" "upgraded cams" I doubt the first one comlpetely, but the second maybe, but if they are stock it won't bother me. I spoke with the owner about the mods, and he was not sure as he bought the car the way it is with the interior already redone, shaved, and automatic door poppers/truck release with most of the exterior left alone. The motor he purchased from an individual in California who verbally stated the engine mods (yeah, right). It's still a 1jz, with I'm guessing stock CT-12's and cams. I see ebay selling the 1jz, transmission, and ecu for about $1800-2200. The work with the shaved door handles and interior make the body/frame worth $1000 to me, especially after the carfax report came back clean, with only one fender bender to the driver's side front, which has been fixed. The car has been kept in a shed he purchased the car a few years ago.

It all seems fair to me, but we'll see when I actually get it, and then I'll let you all know. Robert, again, thanks for the offer.

Something tells me you won't be disappointed with the 1JZ. Hell, Robert is swapping one into my MK3 in a couple days. Good luck on getting it fixed and keep us updated.

RacerXJ220, It's Jeff (from Atlanta) I'm in North Carolina now. If your
still overseas, and want that car finished for you, let me know. You already
know I can build some fun MKIIs 8-). Plus I have another friend close to here
that can gimme a hand too, and he's put 1JZs in MKIIIs before.

I appreciate the offer Jeff. This has been a goal of mine for a long time now. I can't wait to get into this car, get it up and running, and then get into this car, hehe. I want to learn about the car as much as possible, so I want to do most of the work myself. Most of it will be electrical. I will need a driveshaft made (easy around my home), intercooler, pipes, fuel lines/pump, and electric fans /2jz waterpump/pulley. I will keep this car on stock CT12's/fuel/rear diff/ECU until I am ready to take it to the next level. It will be fast in that form regardless. I wanna keep my AC too. I will be asking a ton of questions when she gets dropped off at my door. I want to have it running within six weeks of it in my hands it's a goal anyway.

How's Chris' MKII w/7MGTE? how's the car in your sig? Dude, how's NC?

Chris's car is running, but he blew up another diff. My car is down for the next
set of upgrades (going for 450rwhp). And I like NC, peaceful.

true track FTW!

I was checking put HPfreaks.com and they have other options for the MKII, though I never have heard of anyone trying them. I need a source of parts, i.e. downpipe, y-pipe.

I am reading up on the 1jz, but finding information is hit and miss. I want to know what mods there are for this motor, especially the turbos.

(putting random 1j engines in mk2s and posting them on ebay asap)

Well the car looks semi okay. The interior is not bad though there were a few cracks in the dash.

There are two small areas of rust, one on the front windshield lower plate where the wiper arms rest, and the other on the front of the hood, under the lip.

The motor is mounted securely, although the radiator will be a tight fit. The shifter appears to be mounted about an inch too forward (due to engine mounting) but the transmission support is bolted to the frame correctly. I have yet to determine if it's either a W58 or the R154.

The body electrical is in great shape.

The A/C was in fact stripped from the front of the car.

So what I need:

Driveshaft
Radiator hoses
P/S hoses
wiring harness
downpipe and exhaust
intercooler/piping
new springs/struts
PAINT

I am thinking about reinstalling the air conditioning....
