Not too long ago I remember reading a thread about the am antenna being located at the bottom of the hatch window... I think I found the am plug, is it a female plug. Will it fit in the hole on a stock toyo radio? My FM ant. doesnt work... you can hear the motor but it doesnt go up.
Please let me know.... :1zhelp:

Its at the top of the hatch, remove the rear headliner and youll see the plug on the passenger side.

no you need a gm adapter or something.. i had asked this question a little way back and near the stereo splits off the am and fm to one plug you just take that t off and use the adapter to plug right into your radio.. i guess the am one is smaller

I just used an adapter from canadian tire that is for a gm antenna to go into an aftermarket radio... plugs right in.

How is the reception on the AM antenna with FM? Just curious.

not too bad, definately not as good as a full fm antenna would be, but it does the job... Better than no antenna, and I hardly ever listen to the radio.
