Some sort of vacumn hose... Any idea what it attaches to or which side of the engine it goes on?

Are these two nipples supposed to be connected by a hose?

Thanks in advance. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

the first one attaches to the diaphram on the throttle body, 2nd goes t o the vacuum line under the intake then up through the lower intake and attaches to the fuel rail and the other hose connects to the vacuum lines that go over the valve covers, 3rd is a vsv

I too am having a problem locating where the SUPPORT for the same hose in pic #2 bolts to. I know where the end hoses attach, (vacuum under the intake chamber, and into the vacuum pipe by the ISC pipe, but I can't figure out where to bolt the SUPPORT. I've enclosed a pic Any ideas? Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it goes under the fuel rail, so that the nipple comes up between the fuel rail and valve cover

Ok, Thanks a lot. I now have a general idea of where that hose goes, but i still dont know what it attaches to. What is an ISC pipe and what is an intake chamber?

There is a hard pipe that runs next to the "3000" pipe, at the end of that pipe closest to the intake manifold is where one end attaches. Then the other end attatches to a hard pipe that is labeled "25706" in the diagram, on the nipple that doen't show any lines going to it.

Sorry, if thats confusing, thats the best I could explain it.

crrider80, i can't find the location be. the 2nd and 3rd injectors. i'm attaching another pic. trying to find where to bolt this to. Hopefully the answer is in the pic, or if you or anyone could direct me to where this bolts, that'd be great. Thanks and take care!

In this pic, is the VSV supposed to be connected to the intake manni by a hose?

Thanks!

Nah, it goes down in the huge gob of vac BS under the manifold. I would venture to say that it's the same concept, but I have no idea if it reads the vac/boost after a certain part.

Vac lines/VSV's are for wusses anyway. :icon_bigg

Crrider80:

Ck. post #2, and click on the vacuum lines diagram. IF what cnewingham is true (that it is a VSV- I don't know), then you can locate the 2 VSV's in the diagram, and see how they connect to the vaccuum support stay. This presupposes that it is indeed a VSV. Also thanks for your reply on where to attach the support for that vacuum line I was questioning. Good luck!
