I was thinking about getting a set of Adjustable cam gears for my 88. Only problem is they really need to be tuned on a dyno. I was hoping someone here already has done the legwork and could post the optimal settings for adjustable cam gears for the NA. Optimal meaning the most HP/TQ. across the powerband.
Doesn't actually work that way Rip.
Due to production tolerances and any additional work that's been done to a motor it will have a unique sweet spot so settings aren't interchangeable.
You can get in the ballpark using someone elses settings but as you said to get it perfect you need to get it on the rollers.
Are there even Cam Gears available for N/A's? If so - do they provide much, if any, performance benefit for the price you pay?
