I'm leaving on friday morning (4th). I'm thinking 6am, dyno starts at 8am. I want to make sure I get my car in. Someone set up a meet time, say in Marysville or something?

I nominate Tom to be in charge of this, 87_7MGTE PM your phone number to Tom (Breezin) and we'll set it up so you can hook up with us. I think we'll hit the Lyden truck crossing, but I'm not sure. Tom is the lead car that way we don't drive too fast :biglaugh:

How in the hell did I get nominated for "coordinator"?!:icon_mad: If we go by whoes car is slowest, leading the pack...it won't be me!:icon_razz That honor would go to Jebus', with the auto,::hah:: FTW! I don't think the Lynden crossing:icon_conf is a good idea either. Did you mean the Surrey truck scale crossing?:dunno:

the pacific boarder crossing will probably be your best bet, that will put you on 176th and you can follow that straight to Port Kells where Kinetics is. Shouldnt be to busy either at that time in the morning. What time you guys figure youll hit the boarder?? Maybe ill meet up with you there and join the crusie, atleast for a little while

I will have to see if I can dig up my birth certificate somewhere. Otherwise I may be screwed for this one guys..

I'm still working on trying to figure out if I can make it or not. Got the "Get the 'F' out of the damn house for the weekend!" from the wife - joke - and have $$ for gas and food. Trying to find my birth cert - I don't want to get stuck at the border on the way back.

If I make it up I won't have my Supra - it is currently laying in pieces all over my garage floor - but my drop top has a bigger powerplant than any Supra that will be at this event and is still a Toyota.

Last I checked there was still a couple rooms left at the hampton.

For getting over AND getting back home, you will need proof of citizenship plus your Drivers License if you don't have a passport. A passport is the best bet but a birth certificate and DL should be fine. Thats my official response, but I will mention that its proof of citizenship that they're really looking for. Apparently a baptismal certificate is good too, and I know people who have gotten over and back with their army papers. So worst case if you can't get your birth certificate in time and have no passport, if you can think of some legal document that prooves your citizenship they "should" let you back in. Just passing this info along, fyi its all 2nd hand info.

Hey Everyone I saw a report on CNN last night . Apparently you can get over and back with fakes even if you are on their lists as a Do Not Enter . Washington as well as Idaho were mentioned. So the Border Guards most likely will be pretty strict now that they have been exposed as lazy asses on national t.v. so be prepared to get a little more attention. Good luck and have fun . If anyone wants to stop by my work on sunday and grab a burger I work at the Skagit River brewery in down town Mt Vernon . Stop By and meet a fellow supra owner who couldnt make it due to a 7mgte being installed as we speak Cheers Matt
