I do not know if some of you have followed my article on the supraforums so I am reposing it here.
Hi,
I know that some of you followed my car and set up,this weekend 6-7-8 Th July we had darg racing here in Malta Europe and I have drove my dragster with the Toyota 7MGTE and this is the result what I have got and I think that it is a world record with the 7MGTE engine.
We ran the engine with 25-28 boost only no NOS and I have lift off the throttle padale 150Ft from the finish as the track was a bit slippery you can see from the miles
1St Run:
60 Ft:1.204 Sec
E.T:8.20Sec
MPH:178Mph
Clutch have slipped all the way
2Nd Run
60 Ft: 1.141 Sec
E.T:7.90 Sec
Mph:168mph
In my opion till now no one have ran a 7.9 sec with the 7MGTE.
Just to let you know that better times are going to be done as we have to give her more boost and arrange some small technical items that occured during the races.
