CT20 on 2JZ-GTE??? (+)

the second 2jz-gte for my friend's supra came today. After first look, we found "CT20" signs on turbines. But i used to think it US spec. motors! Not ceramic! And the donor - frontcut of Aristo seems pure stock... Quite enought to be sure that turbines wasn't replaced...

I'm going to see whats injectors there, 440 or 550cc... But... it's all very strange...

We have an Aristo front clip and it came with CT-20's also. Everything appears pretty stock aside from the air filter kit.

so, another question: he have ECU from standart 2jz-gte, wich came with CT12B..

Does 2jz work with this ECU? Or he need to find a special ECU?

I'm not sure. I'll be talking to him tomorrow though and will try and find out. I know he located and bought a Mine's upgraded ECU that has the same Toyo part # as the ECU that came with the clip...

ECU part # from Aristo clip is... 89661-30560. Carl says he think that the turbos are externally identical, but the JDM ones will have ceramic wheels.
