mechanics around bay area

looking for a mechanic that really knows the 7mgte. it doesnt matter if its a shop or private. my motor cranks but wont start. ive checked the fuel pump, timing, both work fine. anyone help me out?:icon_bigg

Turn the CPS 180* and see if that works. I know its a late post but hey, you never know.

Yep, turn the CPS 180 and check it. You might be firing on the wrong stroke.

Also make sure your intake hoses are all on tight.

sounds like you have a blown head gasket. when was the last time you changed your blinker fluid?

i dont know if im stealing your thread but anyone know of a alignment place around the bay? 510 area..in hayward, union city or fremont..or around that area..aligment for lowered cars? like a tuner shop or something?

I know a guy in that area who specializes in 7MGTE problems, especially drivability, EFI, and emissions problems. Doesnt come cheap though.
