So where does this thing go?
I dont have a photo of one installed on a motor yet. Can some one help me out with a photo of where it goes? The CPS is right behind (aft) your Power Steering fluid reservoir.

So where does this thing go?
dude, its a CPS cover, so it goes over your existing CPS. nice looking product.
EDIT: here is pix of my CPS. is that what you wanted? as you can see, i dont have a cover on mine, but stock they have a black plastic cover. i broke mine removing it once and never got around to getting a new cover.

does it take the factory seal?
Nope, it takes a conventional 0-ring. I didnt want to rely on any factory parts, I want to design with ease of replacement in mind. If I get hit by a bus you will still be able to puchase this O-ring at any O-ring supply place. Or if I keep living, just hit me up for another I will be glad to send it to you if you need it.

My stock piece is severely cracked, and I am in need of a replacement. Can anyone here tell me what the factory Toyota one costs? If it's outrageous (sp?) as Toyota parts usually are, I will definately be interested in one of these. Very nice product!
Thanks,
Collin
born2drv:
I will throw an extra one in for you if you want, I had to buy a ton of them, they had minimums where I bought them.
shogun86:
Yes they are already made, and they seem to be flying off the shelf at the moment, I cant wait till people get them in hand because I really am proud of the quality and the design. Im anxious to see what you guys think of my products too.
got_boosted:
I didnt make them because it was a cost effective alternative, I made them because they are way better than the stock part in every respect. You can guarnteed that a new stock plastic one will fail again one day. This new aluminum one will never fail and will always look impressive.
When your ready to order please PM me and include your ZIP and your address, so I can reply with a shipping total. You can send a Money Order or you can Paypal me. But please include your full address in the message from Paypal or on the memo of your Money Order. Also please leave me your AKA in text form on Paypal and money orders, I can see this getting confusing.
If you guys want I will post here when items go out the door and I will reply personally with a tracking number when they do.
Thanks

the EPC states the stock cover is 3.62 + 1.83 for the gasket thingie. these are the Jay Marks prices and may be out of date.
the billit piece looks sweet. i just may have to buy one to replace my busted up stocker. what i really want are some simple straight cam covers that dont have the depression for the 3000 pipe and coil packs.

Guys these parts are flying off the shelf so I feel its only fair to treat first paid as first served.
I feel its only fair to tell you guys I only have 3 left in natural as I have some local customers that have already paid.
I will be able to get my Machinist back on these Monday and should be able to get a bunch more if I get a run (from you guys) on them by this weekend.
I will have more black ano ones early next week but cant tell you the price till I get them from my machinist.
Thanks for the interest in my parts, I will have some seriously cool Chit soon.

Would the anodizing look better if the piece was polished first? I guess it'd look like black chrome?
Yea I have seen many parts polished then anodized, but I dont have the means to polish it. If you have to have it polished then anodized I will look into it an give you a quote. If your into high end bicycles take at King hubs (in person) they are polished then anodized, they look amazing the depth is incredible. I have been to look at website photos and its almost impossible to tell what the finish looks like from a photo.
LMK
I have a King front Hub ;)
I have a Black King Disco Tec Rear on my XC bike. Beautiful parts Huh?!?!?! Am I right? about a photograph of the finish? Its pretty hard to tell from a photo.
I have more covers back from my Machinest, I have more natural ones and Black ano ones on the shelf. Pm me for details

Just wanted to drop a quick line and say how awesome this product is. It looked good in its natural state, but I wanted to accentuate it more. Spent about an hour hand polishing it and it looks beautiful. I like the fact that it takes a standard o-ring too, very innovative. No more cracked black plastic for me!

I understand that but I would suggest making the part a little thicker and then the counterbore can be done. I know it may not seem like a lot but the smallest details mean a ton to some people. (me being one of them) Just a little bug in your ear.

Just wanted to BUMP and let everyone know that the billet CPS cover is just great!
I had a small leak due to a cracked CPS cover/bad o-ring and walaaaaa this puppy fixed it right up. Of course a stock one would have worked but why bother when this beautiful piece of billet will last forever! :)
thanks arz!
^^^Please feel free to post a photo in this thread if you have one of my CPS covers^^^
Thanks, everybody for the nice words.

Do you have any of these in stock?
Sure do!!! you gonna do it this time? You still want to swap your parts for my parts? I still need a shift boot, armrest and park brake cover, I would be glad to do a one for one swap as it seems they retail for about the same amount. If your not interested in that please let me know. You tell me some Blue ones are on the way and I will fire out a CPS.
Does that sound fair? If not let me know what you think is fair. :)

yae yae black bule red ect
Just natural!!!! Sorry since its a cover and it closes off the CPS components, I thought you had a question about that.
Sorry I only have the covers in natural aluminum, all the colored ones proved way to much work and not worth the effort.

alright just let me know.
thought you said you only had silver or blackYea when I first made these I made 10 black ones and they took forever to sell so I decided not to do them again. I sold the last one over 7-8 months ago and your the first to ask about them since. Its just not worth it for me to keep a bunch of inventory that doesn't move. I will have to go find those posts and edit them.
Sorry.
alright just let me know.
WILL DO! Thanks for the patients.
