Alright, I've got a 1984 Supra with a 7mgte swapped in. Running stock 6 psi boost with 60-1 CT26, stock intercooler and piping, stock DP (running open DP though), 550cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, NO lex AFM, and untuned.

So Im just out crusin and this nice mid to late 90's z28 camaro w/ exhaust pulls up to me at the light and gives me the nod like he wants to race. So we punch it off the line, and he pulls ahead while the turbo is spooling, then I reeled him in once i hit second gear and jumped a car length on him. He was pretty impressed with my car to say the least.

Then we went from a 3rd gear roll starting at about 3000 rpm. Hah you should have seen the guys face after that race. I walked him pretty hard and probably pulled 3 lengths on him in the 3rd gear lol. Next light he gives me the thumbs up and says "wow that things pretty quick" haha just thought i'd share.

I dont really know what z28's do in the 1/4 mile though. anyone know?

Mid to low 14 stock. You definitely have the weight advantage on him. I love the MKII with the 7MGTE. Should have been the standard, nice car, have fun.

LT1? Anywhere from mid 14s to astronomically high 13s (hey, it could happen). LS1, 13s if they can even manage to shift gears. Sounds like a sweet car you've got, any pics? Good win, always nice to see domestics and imports live in harmony...

Great kill. I used to have a black '83, but didn't know what a 7mgte was at the time, so I had a stock 2.8 liter. Loved it alot..........lol

I run 10psi cuz I don't wanna blow my stock HG, when I get my head gasket upgraded, and fuel system done I will be running 16 to 18psi hipefully then more when I get a better turbo and better FMIC. I wanna swap to a 5 spd and will have to when I get all that done, I wish the 7M had a better head and intake manifold stock but its all good, I don't understand why they put such a low output fuel system on when they had to know people would wanna tune them, but ya live and learn I guess.

heh, don't turn the boost up until you get proper air upgrades. well, unless you want to grenade your motor, that is. ;)
