yeah dude, you should search when asking something so general but your new so im not gonna rag on ya.
As far as 18's go people have gone as large as 18x10s on the back and 18x9s on the front. MDCmotorsports has fit 315s on the back of his supra

Tub out the ass end. The back seats worthless anyhow. Put some Mickey Thompson's on there and get to the track.

and be sure to get some lowering springs too
I've got 18x9's w/ 38 offset on the back...275/35 tires. 18x8's w/ 38 offset on the front...235/40 tires. Eibach springs w/ Koni shocks. No rubbing at all. The 18" wheels took out half of the lowering effect of the springs.

Bah, 18 are to big for me!
Looks like a 4x4 without proper suspension. I like to keep it small. Just to give yo uan idea-- here is my supra with 17's......vv

s383......, I knew when you were the first person that replied to me we were going to butt heads. You post like me. I like the way the 18's look, nice ride dude. That was for jdub. I have the stock 16in. Now, with the exception ot the TURBO'S......, I am faster out of the hole than the both of you. If I thought I could get clearence, I would just purchase some of those really inexpensive white rally wheels, with a perfomance tire, like potenzas' or some mich's. Only they'd be 15in. This car, of mine. Would be like a crotch rocket. But you lose top end. I'll probably end up powder coating these rims that are on the car now.

Yeah i bet you are quicker out of the hole with smaller rims!
But they dont look nice!:biglaugh:
Ill "catch" up to you after the first 10 mph

How's your body sway in high speed corners? I guess what I'm asking is does it break in corners. Maybe i mean body roll, sway. Because you are sitting up quite a bit higher than I am.

My bad s383. That burgandy color, I didn't even notice you didn't have a spoiler. I thought you were a gte. I wouldn't want to pay more for tires than I already do.
That's the true reason behind the 15 inch wheel. I could buy tires at wal-mart for 200$ every six months and just drive the shiat out of them.

I recently went shopping for 18's, I looked into wider in the back like 9-10. The only downfall is options become seriously limited. Especially in the off setting with wider in the back. 18's look alot better, but there were only a couple options from each company. you increase your options going with the same width all around, but the tire place mentioned some rubbing with 18's, especially if you're going with the H&R lowering springs. My advice is going to a knowledgable, credited tire shop and dealing with someone who knows what they are talking about. Especially with the rarity of our cars, some 18's won't just slap on and drive away. Choose wisely. Good luck.

Thats not true, if you get the right offset you shouldnt have one problem fitting 18s and h&rs there are a couple of folks with 18x10.5s in the back and are slammed on coilovers

Any more pics of 18s out there? The fiance is probably gonna go with 18s on her MKIV and I may eventually go that route, since I've beat up on my poor Borbet 17s for 7+ years (they were used when I bought 'em).
