Hey fellas im puttin this in the midwest section because of the fact that i dont want to have to drive a million miles for a supra if i dont have too. This car is going to be for my cousin and im trying to help him out by finding him a supra. Hes still a rookie when it comes to supras so i will more than likely be with him to make sure the car is good. So im looking for any year mkIII turbo, 5spd, targa or hardtopper. Doesnt matter what color. If anybody knows of maybe a dealership too that has one forsale in it that would work too. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dustin

I am pretty sure there is two for sale at the same dealer in rockford, wierd! I will try to go over and check them out.

Other wise man there is a white edition 1989 some guy is selling in the car section that spun a bearing. It is by member 89mk3 but I don't know if he is trying to get to much for it. The reason why I say this one is because it was my first supra and it was in excellent shape!
Good luck man.

Well I figured I'd post up and ad and see if any 1J supra owners are interested. Up for grabs is my 87' Turbo, Targa, 5spd, Mica Blue, with 126K on the clock. The car is my daily driver and I'm the 3rd owner. As of now the mods are:

- New Factory Headgasket
- ARP Headstuds
- SP61GT Turbo (2K miles on it)
- Sound Performance Stainless Steel Oil Lines
- Custom 3" Intake Pipe w/ K&N Filter
- 417 Motorsports SS Heat Shield
- Ported Exhaust Manifold
- 3" Stainless O2 Housing
- 3" Stainless Downpipe
- Custom 3" Catback
- GodSpeed 31x12x3 Intercooler
- 3” Intercooler Piping w/ Silicone Couplers & T-bolt clamps
- Greddy Type S BOV
- Dual 10" SPAL Fans
- PowerHouse Racing MAP-ECU
- Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
- Denso 550cc Injectors
- Aeromotive AFPR w/ Fuel Pressure Gauge
- Manual Boost Controller
- NGK Plug Wires
- Autometer Boost, EGT, Air/Fuel Gauges
- Lotek Pillar Pod
- SOGI Short Shifter
- ACT 6 Puck Clutch
- Mine’s Front Strut Tower Bar
- Tinted Stock Tails
- Gunmetal Sawblades
- Kenwood Flip Face Deck and Speakers
- Dual 10" Panasonic Subwoofers w/ Alpine Amp
- Relocated Battery
- Removed AC, Cruise Control, lots of wiring cleanup, and stainless J-tube blockoff

The boost is set at 1 Bar, it's never seen more than that. It has major traction issues as is lol. I've always kept up the maintenance and it's been garage kept. Targa does not leak at all and still has the original hatch cover. It has been repainted the factory color and although it does have imperfections it's far better than a stock paintjob would be after this long. You'll find ZERO rust on the car. The tires are very new and have 90% tread on them. Nothing special just some all weather stock size.

The maintenace has always been kept by myself and includes valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, radiator flush, brand new alternator, new battery, front pads, and oil changes were done every 2K.

Now for the bad. The clutch is very stiff, grabs hard, and does chatter. Interior is in good shape but theres a small tear in the passengers seat. Water temp gauge does not work. No major issues just stuff I haven't gotten around to replacing.

As far as what I'm looking for, it's pretty simple. I'd like to find any close-to-stock 1JZ supra ( or cressida hehe). Auto or Manual trans but I'd actually prefer Auto to be honest. It has to be very mechanically sound as it'll be a daily driver. I'm located in Springfield, MO and am willing to travel if need be. Also interested intrading for turbo MR2's, SC300, or a clean lowerd 89+ MKIII.

Thanks for reading,
Cameron
