coolant temp sensor broke is it safe

is it safe for me to drive with the coolant temp senosr and all thats on right now is the check engine light but its still running fine

It's ok to drive temporarily until you get it fix. Toyota put the water temp sensor there for a purpose.

ok new ones in easiest and cheapest thing so far and damn i still have a minor oil leak
