05 mustang v6 went down

I was on my way home when I got to the light and a 05 mustang v6 was next to me. I didn't even look at him cuz my car is running low boost 4psi. When the light turned yellow he rev at me and I knew it was on so I launched at 2000 rpms and then I shifted 2nd by the time he was 1/2 car infront of me but as soon as I hit 3rd I passed him and when i hit 4th gear he was way behind me. I heard a whitle noise coming from the mustang probably a loud cai. I though I was going to get smoked cuz I just have a k&N filter only but it's pushing 4psi only. I can't wait for my 3" cat back and 3" DP.

if you're only pushing 4psi something's wrong. stock boost is like 6.8psi...

with an exhaust an intake, you should be able to take v8 mustangs, i dont even waste my time w/ the 6cyl's.

yeah that's true what shaeff said...stock boost is 6.8psi...and V6 stangs are a waste of gas. when you get ur catback and DP run against a V8 :icon_wink

I think my 1st cat is clogged so I hope when I get the 3" catback and 3' Dp I'll be pushing 8psi.

probably intake, exhaust, lex afm, 550s, boost controller, and something to tune it with :bigthumb:

since you gonna get the 3" catback and DP then probably MBC, Lexus AFM, Boost controller, boost gauge, intake, and BOOST IT to like 15psi.

I've seen them in Poland. It's pretty cool. Would make racing from a red light a little different.
