My secondary throttle solenoid connector broke so i was thinking about hooking hte secondary throttle directly up to vacuum. i know I will probably lose some low end torque but are there any other adverse effects to this?

There are only have two solenoids that affect throttle. Idle speed and cruise control, so maybe you could elaborate more?

Its a VSV connector that hooks to the vacuum port of the secondary port on the intake plenum. I was just thinking about hooking hte actual secondary vacuum port to the intake manifold so it will open all the time.
Why not just buy a VSV and repair it properly?
