Been on these cool forums for a while and never been able to take pictures of my car and finally got some.

Although my car isn't in a perfect condition (broken turbo) but still some body pictures and still not so good pictures cause of the sand storms here.

For a still-unknown reason my turbo just broke and got wasted real bad and I need to use the car so I risked and removed the turbo and put in an N\A exhaust manifold just to keep the car running I know the car is running crazy rich and it's not okay to run the car but got no other choice cause I didn't find a turbo at the time it broke but now I bought one but waiting to get some money & time to install it cause i'm willing to save some money to do some machine work on the head&Block cause I already got an OEM HG installed and willing to buy a MHG. so there's a picture of my ugly&dirty engine bay I know it shouldn't be that dirty but I live in a dusty area so I can't keep my engine clean and the current setup of the intake.......Just don't try it cause it's hell :(

^^^ why do you say that? its the right car to have anywhere in the world... he'll just need to take extra caution/precaution so that he doesnt let his engine breath in lots of dust. its a nice looking car and i think it suits iraq just as well as a car can suit anywhere else in the world.

ok i said that to loosely, i think its great that he has it in Iraq too i just made the comment basically after i read that he had to bypass the turbo to run it, i think the car looks good too, its just on of those comments you make without thinking it all the way through...

Well about my turbo..I was very careful and I clean the air-filter like everyweek and if too messy replace it and allways clean the turbo intake from dust but I guess I had a problem with the actutator which blew the turbo cause the boost didn't stop raising at the time it broke.

Also about operating in Dust..It's a problem for turbos in High boost that's why I can't run high boost and not thinking about any of it.

Also there's kinda a large MK3 community in Iraq comparing to other turbo cars cause We got a crazy number os Cressidas which share the same engine so we got parts for this engine but I say that N\A are available more than Turbos and Auto more than Manual. I know 4 other turbo similiar to my car the same euro-spec. Two blacks & One silver & a red one. Also friends of mine own many MK3s & I know one person who owns a MK2 and No MK4s.

Wardog...Well I use the car very much so maybe you've seen it. And where were you stationed in IraQ?

Well I bought a turbo and it seems in a good condition but now I found out that my BOV is broken & Most of my hoses are leaking so I will need to make custom IC pipes maybe hard ones and make custom Turbo Intake pipe and I need to buy a BOV and it's kinda hard cause of my location but I can handle it what kind of BOV do you guys suggest I get for a reasonable price and one which perform well?

And also I ordered ARP head bolts & need some more time\money to buy a 2mm MHG and do the head\block machine work just to be sure that when the turbo is back IT'S BACK! it's gonna take a while since my car is gonna see day light.
