is this normal poping with exhaust

well i have a 86.5 and its a N/A and it has an aftermarket exhaust with piping back to the cat, well when i start the car it burrbles until its warm like not back firing but small bubblyb noises, and once in a while on highway i can get a popping sound from exhaust i heard this is pretty common on cars with aftermarket exhausts any ideas thanks guys i love this forum

Yes & No, mine does it between gear changes sometimes but not every time.
It can be annoying at times. What is happening is the muffler is storing turbulent exhaust gas for a moment & when it releases it pops. I think I may need to look at a different muffler??

I have a turbo and mine "burbles" when i'm decelerating with my foot very slightly on the gas. i never think anything of it.

yes it is the one they were making fun of but i am geting it back to decent shape lol, like first removing gay painted tail lights and emblems lol, had this discussion guess i gota remove those wheels too lol but need a little money first lol. but to be honest car runs strong
