can you still use a Head Gasket that has been a little bit bent ( composite), will it still seat correctly, i just got the part , but it seems that during shipping it was a bit manhandled

I would not, I would send it back if it is bad.. Put up a picture and it will make this easier i guess?

when I ordered my hg from Toyota, it got damaged in shipping, they wouldn't even let me see it, had to wait another day for a new one...so I think that any bends are BAD! Just wait for a new one...it will be better...

thanks i was thinking the same, but i i was also thinking of the greater tolerence that it had when seating, but i guess this would be pushing it, ill just order another from toyota...
