Hey my PacNW Supra brothers and sisters (and father...Old Dawg!),

I just wanted to see if we could get a show of hands to have a Centralia
PacNW Supra regional meet on Saturday, April 22, 2006 (rain date Apr 29). Come spend the day with your fellow Supra owners at the Centralia outlet mall, where legends are born!

Lets see if we can get another one of those huge turnouts like we used to.

About halfway between Portland and Seattle. Is a convenient place to get both the Seattle and Portland crews together.

PacNW Supra owners and enthusiasts,

I just wanted to provide an update on the upcoming Centralia meet so that you could all plan appropriately. I asked for a lot of feedback regarding the actual date, and the most popular 2 dates were April 22 and April 29. Therefore, I have scheduled the meet for the first of those dates, but with a possible rain-out date extension for April 29.

General information and directions about the Centralia meet can be found here (Thanks Keith!):

Here is a timeline of how the decision making process will look:

Wednesday, April 19: Make go/no-go decision about the meet for April 22 (I will communicate this to the list via e-mail and a post on SupraForums)
Saturday, April 22: Originally planned meet to be held if "go" decision made the previous Wednesday
Saturday, April 29: Second chance for the meet if "no-go" decision was made on April 19

Yes, the obvious question is "what if the second meet date is also looking to be a rain-out?". The answer is "tough, since we live in the Pacific Northwest".

The meet will begin at noon, and will last as long as the attendees do. Don't be afraid to bring friends or significant others as there are plenty of shops and restaurants around.

I'll send more updates as they pan out...but please start planning your time off now.

I'll be bringing some of the extra MkIII Supra Logo keychains with me to Centralia - as long as they don't sell out by then. Will have those, 2006 Supra Calendars, and PacNW Supra T-shirts available. Save money on shipping. I'll post up the available sizes on the shirts before we go to Centralia.

Grim - sorry for the confusion. I would have changed the title if I could.

We are watching the weather for April 22nd - VERY closely. We will make a go/no-go decision on Wednesday if we will keep the 22nd or move it to the 29th.

Current 10-day trend shows sunny and 66 degrees for the 22nd. Keep your fingers crossed.

Current weather reports are showing very positive for the 22nd. Judging from the talk here and over at SF this is going to be one heck of a turnout!

I will be bringing MkIII Supra logo keychains ($10), 2006 Supra Calendars ($10), and PacNW Supra T-shirts ($15) with me if anyone wants to pick those items up and save on shipping.

I hope to see many familiar faces out there - and look forward to meeting new friends.

We will post up an official Go/No-Go on Wednesday.

I think the Tacoma meeting point is that parking lot just off the 56th St exit (by the mall) Gotta' check with Dr. Mike over on SF. You can call me when your are coming up Southcenter hill, I will probably try to be at the meet up point no later than 10:00am.

There will be other gatherings. I'm thinking about having something at my place (near the I84/I205 interchange) sometime in the near future - for my MkIII buddies. I've lost touch with so many - and there are even more new faces in the area. Could do a boym bbq or something. Keep your ears open in this section for info.

sounds good to me, isnt there a PacNW Supra meet thats like an annual thing or is this it? and when is SILV 06'?

Vancouver B.C is the location of a big meet this summer,:icon_bigg that is the "Suprafest". But there is also suppose to be a regional Supra meet somewhere between Seattle/Eugene...was in Portland last summer, very fun!:icon_razz
Still the Canadian Suprafest was a great meet, mainly because the "Coke" is a road built for Supra's and 135mph+ speeds!:naughty: Meet was in Kelowna, and the drive over from Vancouver was just awesome!:love:
