I'd let em settle in, then drop it about a half inch all around. Just like the photochop. Nice car BTW!

Mine's been WAY lower, when I picked it up I scraped on my 1.5" lip in my garage. That was changed immediately. But yes mk3's look very good when slammed, with a slight touch of rake :D Car is very clean, silver is best :)

Remember unless you're a stick figure it'll drop a bit once you're in it as well!

Looks beautiful dude, love the wheels, but you definitely should lower it more.

I say around 2 inches at the rear and 1-1.5 at the front...

i think anything more than 1 inch is a little too much. It also depends on other stuff! like your weight---and exhaust!

air bags...all the way. lol. Has anyone ever bagged an MKIII? I've seen MKIV's with bags, but never a III

Anyone ever pulled the springs out then put the shocks back in with the car on stands and jacked the suspension back up to your normal ride height?

I'm just playing around at the moment with my car sorting the new coilovers and was surprised to see that doing this my car is almost sitting on the bump stops...... (the car isn't slammed and has around an inch or so gap between the tire and guard lips)

Just posted a bunch of pics in my thread of what I'm talking about if anyone is interested.

If your on the street, lower. If you are tracking it (soloII or big track) that looks like a good ride height. Form VS function.

Maximum slam FTW
That car is like stock height for a Bilstein 2.5R

I dropped the car until the diff case fins touched the road with nobody in the car.
Now that looked sweet
I had to raise it like 3in just to move it when I got it lol
