can't get car to rev

my friend and i just got our supras put back together and both idle just fine. the problem is when we give it gas the car won't rev. we figure it has to do with the cam angle sensor. also the timing might be a little off, because we haven't had a chance to use a timing light yet. can someone please help us out.

is the afm plugged in? simple to forget, simple to check first. also is the intercooler piping all connected? that happened on my turbo swap.

well, get the timing set correctly first. that could very well be your problem.

also, have you any way to check your fuel pressure?

Pull the codes... you'll know instantly if the AFM is either bad or disconnected.

afm is plugged in. all intercooler piping is connected. i have no way to check fuel pressure, but i am getting feul. we thought it was the afm but why would both of our afm's go bad. both cars were running just fine when we took them apart. we'll time both cars today and see if that helps. if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

nevermind, figured out what it was. the cam angle sensor was off one tooth.
