Ok, heres my idea;
1. i need a stock CT26 inlet flange so i can make an adaptor from T04E manifold and bolt a stock CT to it. i cant find a stock CT flange, can you get/make one for the right price?
2. I want a stock CT DP flange, similar to the DDP flange. however! heres the catch. i need the WG port closed off on the flange. I will be having the WG flapper welded shut and using an external gate. from there, i need the CT DP flange to have a hole cut in it to align w/ the CT turbine discharge port that will accomodate a 2.25" ID tubing. IIRC, the stock CT turbine discharge diameter farthest from the wheel accomodate a 2.25"OD tubing; 2.25"OD exhaust pipe fits perfectly in there. there is a step at the throat of the Discharge which the 2.25"OD pipe can rest against. by installing TWO gaskets on the studs, then the DP flange, snugging the nuts, you can then tack the 2.25"OD tubing to the flange and fully weld it. then, once its welded, one of the gaskets can be removed. at this point, fully tightening the flange SHOULD create a leak-free interference fit inside the turbine discharge. from there, i only need 1/2" of 2.25" to extend past the flange. at that point, i can flare to 3"ID tubing to make the first bend of the DP.
i hope my description is clear enough for you. itll all come together when you take a piece of 2.25" exhaust tubing and shove it into the turbine housing discharge port. basically, all im asking for is a stock CT26 turbine inlet flange and a special CT26 dp flange with a ~2.5" section of 60mm exhaust tubing welded to it. actually, you could save yourself the hassle and ILL weld the pipe to the flange... i just need a DP flange that will align w/ the turbine discharge port so i can install the 2.25" tubing.
Let me know if there is anything unclear.
thanks randy
