View Full Version : New shoes for the Poopra! (goodbye sawblades)

Some may have seen this on SF...

After owning her for almost 4 years she finally got new shoes. They are Sport Max 17x9 +35mm offset with Kumho Ecsta MX 255/40/17s all the way around. :drool: The stockers with rubber weighed in at 48 lbs while these came in at 49.5 lbs. Not too bad of a difference for another 2"s of width.

Tell me what you guys think. I have higher res pics too if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the comments. I just threw the wheels on before I went back to school so I didnt get to drive it yet and my dad took the pictures for me and sent em to me. I believe simman has the same ones but his are 18's.

i love how the trim molding matches the spoke color..Would have personally went with a 275-40 for the rears tho..but still very nice combo.:icon_bigg

The car understeers enough as it is....adding more meat to the back is only gonna make things worse. I wanted the 255s on all 4s for balance.

Rims on eBay / Tires on tirerack.

Less than $1200 all said and done.
