I was cruising this morning on the highway headed to the dealership to pick up some parts for the supra, I was cruising by myself and theres a part of the highway where it is stait so I downshift to 4th and floor it, shift to 5th I don't know how fast i'm going because Speedo don't work get up to about 5000- 5400 rpms and i slow down because i was coming up to some turns.
I cruise for about a half a minute and look in my rear view and see this jetta on my ass, so I guess he must of seen me fly by him and wants to have a little fun. So we go at it. I let him in front of me being the good sport. We hit some traffic and he makes a cut into the left lane, I cut into the right lane and get stuck behind some minivan thats doing like 45mph. The jetta cuts into the middle lane and starts bouncing on me. So what do I do, downshift and hit the shoulder passing the minivan( I know i'm nuts and shouldn't be racing on the highway but what could I say I like driving fast) :crazy1: Now the jetta is a good length in front of me, but i'm catching up pretty easy.
We start to approach a little more traffic and the highway is now 3 lanes going into two lanes. We both come up on this traffic with nowhere to go. So what do I do again "HIT THE SHOULDER" and cross over to a on ramp thats two lanes wide. :sadwavey: No more jetta :sadwavey:
I'm pretty surprise how fast that vr6 was, but i'm stock for right now except for my suspension.
Quick question to anyone that reads this- Anyone know a fast they are going at 5000rpm's in fifth gear????(need to fix my damn speedo cable)
I know this probaly doesn't consider as a kill because it was highway racing and I do feel like i cheated a little for taking the shoulder but where i'm from the highway is where you show most of your skills.
