Does anyone in the Birmingham area know where a good performance shop is? I've been using AutoLabz in homewood, but there not that smart when it comes to supras. They deal more with Hondas. I would be willing to drive to somewhere else, but havent located any shops willing to work on turbo cars. Hope someone out there has some answers. Thanks.

thanks supra60. Have you used these guys before? Have you ever been to Bama Dragway in Dora Al? I go up there every now and then on saturday evenings. They have midnight madness, but it starts at 6 p.m. thanks again for the help.

I just got a BOV flange welded at autolabz, cost me $70. Don't think I'll be going there anymore.

yeah, suprahero. i've been using Jayme at TVR for a few months. The guys there know their stuff. The shop is owned by him and his brother who, if I'm not mistaken, both worked at the Toyota dealership's service center for a while. These guys are top notch when it comes to MKIII supras. They'll do anything you want done.

thanks guys, I'm really looking for someone with some suggestions on making my car a little faster. I was thinking about getting a maft pro, but only if someone knows how to install and tune it, because I would not know how. I will call them and see what they are capable of doing. Staticap, have you ever been to bama dragway? I live about five minutes from there, if you ever want to come up here and race on saturday nights let me know. The track is a little slick, but it beats sitting at home.

I'm up for a small Supra meet at the Holiday Raceway. That's closest to me. Then maybe a meet at Bama.

Exit 97 on 20/59. It's an 1/8 mile track. Opens March 16, which is a Thursday (test and tune night). I'm already telling my manager that I'm going to need to be off by 5 because it opens at either 6 or 7. I'm ready to do a run or two.

The only track I've been to is the international dragway in steele. Once I get my stuff in good shape I want to get a few runs in, and see where I'm at.

I've run at Bama about 10 times and the best time I have run is a 9.00 and the worst I've run was like a 10.55. My car was running a little better than it is now, but it'll have to do until I can meet with some other supra guys and get some suggestions.
