Looks like a lube issue. If I polish the scored surfaces on 5th gear there will probably be too much play. Looks like I need to find a new tranny.

yes it has always been a lube issue. Thank the splash lubircation sytem.

amazing that you4rs broke.

most of the time they end up WELDING themselves to the first gear.
