safc 1 advice

I read somewhere in one of the forums that you can hook the blue wire from the safc to the vf and read voltage on the screen. I was wondering is this true. I also was wondering can I hook my safc 1 up without a wideband and set all the settings to zero until I get my wideband. I bought it off of ebay just curious if it works. My car is a 89 supra turbo, 7m-gte engine.

blue wire to the Kv input wire and the input 2 disply under the sensor check ... reading VF

Yes keeping everything zeroed out won't effect anything.

Thanks. I was afraid to hook it up without a wideband but I will hook it up now. I will set everything to zero until I get one and monitor my vf signal. I am new to this forum and I have learned alot. This is the best supra forum going I believe.
