I know, it was more of a joke about the pics :)
It had a 88mm on it and i dropped to the BW S366 witch is a 66mm that will flow enough for 850hp :)

I really thought it would be closer. I wanted to hear my car from the front but it did not work out to well...lol

You sir.....WIN!!!!

x3!

We love pics!
We love videos!
Welcome to the mania!

You are the best thing that ever happened to a Z32! Just out of curiousity what made you decide to go with the 2JZ over an RB25 or 26?

How difficult was the swap? Im actually really curious now? How much did you spend on getting it in and running?

A CAI would be nice :)

Good job on getting it all in there I'm a little surprised there's enough length in the bay for the I-6.

Very very nice 300ZX. What's that weigh in at? The swap looks very clean. I take it you're using the R154 trans right? Tire sizes? Welcome bro, we hope you enjoy your stay.

It took me about a month from start to finish. it wasnt that bad at all and i do ALL my own work. Cost wise..... with the EMS and everything i did it was between 6-7k.

CAI?? and it sits as far back as it possibly can.... bout a 1/4" from the firewall :)

I have not had it weighed yet. Well i started out with the W-58 because i did not really know much going into this swap but now have the r-154 after going through 2 w-58's :)
It has 245-40-18"s up front and 295-35-18"s in the rear.

Very nice motor swap. Those VG30 motors are super hard to work on while crammed in those cars.

Damn, nice car man, looks sweet. I always wondered how fast the VG was, nothing compared to the 2jz haha!

What was the major modications that you had to do to get the engine in there? Motor mounts? Crossmember clearance? I used to have a Z32 and sold it but when I was looking at the RB25 swap, there was talk about cutting the crossmember. What about your swap?

By the way, good job. Inline Six Always Win.

They can be fast, just alot more mods are needed.

Yeah the usual, i made custom engine mounts, trans mounts, driveshaft, and yes i had to modify the cross member.
I only had to [ notch the member for the oil pan so i could get the engine back how i wanted. and for clearance, it sit about an 1/8" about it so its as far down as you can go.

that sir is the best thing I'v see all week.
my buddy and I swapped his Z and I hated how cramped it was, and all the emissions crap. I was scratching my head on the PRVR. After the first day I was trying to get him to put a 2jz in.

My brother-in-law offered me a Z32 as wedding present but I turned him down after looking under the hood. Maybe I should reconsider. Welcome to SM!

Thanks for all the complements guys.
I have had many setups on this car and i even built a custom 70mm single turbo setup for the VG.... i can even make them not bad to work on :)

Cool! But the fact that the poor VG30 Z was on Stock turbos @19psi was conveniently left out lol. That's one big turbo!
