May i ask why blue and red?

I cant really picture my harness as its for standalone and connected in various places. Its pretty much permnently in the car unless i cut it out, but its fit is perfect and im not planning on selling or anything anytime soon. But i wrapped it with black loom and black electrical tape.

Because it's the only thing I could find local in the sizes I needed:-(. After it's done I think it will work well as i have blue silicone hoses and plan on running red couplers....my engine bay will look so American lol.

i have a question for OP. did you have any brown wires sticking out under where the intake manifold would be? did you have any splices in your harness after you pulled off the factory tubing? i posted my own thread that goes more in detail with related questions but i havent had any helpful responses there. i figured since you have recently rewrapped yours maybe you could help. thanks in advance

Anyone remember who it was who was rerouting and segmenting their harnesses? I never heard or saw how that turned out.

A rewrap is a good idea.... especially if you're using it as motivation to check the integrity of the old wiring. ;)

When I first swapped my GTE in that summer i had horrible wiring problems, that winter i got pissed about it stripped the whole harness down, hand traced everywire, resoldered everything, then continuity checked every wire.

Took a little bit of time but well worth it.:icon_bigg

I think it looks pretty good dude! The only thing I may have done differently would be to try and find blue and red electrical tape that matched the loom. Also would have only done one color but thats just personal preference. Overall nice work!
