Its silicone wrap, the stuff they are made of.... just hasnt been cleaned

What all was done with the engine internals? Stock rebuild? Looks good.
PLEASE make sure those fan wires are fused! The heat is bad enough around here, dont need something else encouraging a car fire haha

hah a car fire would be good for a 7m :P
TooGoode has turned me into a 2j man by the end of the build.
As far as internals all stock.
Went with titan head gasket and arp studs.
