I'm very intrested in buying a DDP but I had a couple questions.
What's a flex section and why would anyone buy the DDP with it?
What's the 2nd threaded bung for Wideband and why would anyone buy the DDP with it too?

flex section allows minor movement of the downpipe (correct me if im wrong)
the bung is for a wideband system that reads air/fuel ratios....it places a sensor in that bung..

Correct. The flex is there so when your engine moves it doesn't twist the exhaust and stress the bolts, but one of the real reasons is incase you bump the exhaust, it doesn't put that pressure into the turbo housing and bolts etc, because that could easily crack it. The flex takes the hit and just, well, flexes :icon_razz

Alright so the flex section looks very important, but what about that sensor bung thing? Could I just buy the DDP W/flex and not have any problems with the install or does having that sensor thing make installation easier?

need sensor, dont really need the flex (he said before he ran his car for years w/o flex)

The flex section is not neccissary. It helps control the thermal expansion of the downpipe and manifold to prevent cracking. It also absorbs shock if you bottom it outon a speedbump or something, but my downpipes are tucked up pretty high and your car would have to be really low to hit on most speed bumps. I ran a dp on my car for about 3 years without a flex and had no problems at all.
The screw in style o2 sensor bung allows you to use the much cheaper universal o2 sensors if your stock one ever goes bad, or you can install a wideband o2 sensor so you can moniter your air fuel ratio's for tuning purposes. I have sold hunderds of downpipes with and without the flex and havent had any complaints.

it seperates the wastegate exhaust from the normal exhaust, so less back pressure

and a touch more HP lol!

And because of the wastegate pipe the total exhaust area is allot bigger, It flows about equal to a 4" downpipe. Runnung with the ddp will make it loud at full boost because the wastegate exhaust is externally venting undernieth the car. But only when you are hard on the throttle. Durring regular driving it is silent just like any other 3" dp. The ddp is not emmissions leagl escpecially in California. Use it at your own discression.

The DDP is so freakin' awesome!:bigthumb: Many people have asked me if I have an exhaust cut-out that I control from inside the car!? " Yeah, I reply, I can control it from inside the car...with my throttle foot!:icon_razz LOL! I want to open the wastegate on the emission station rollers so bad!:naughty: ...well, maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea!:nono: LOL!

The second bung for the DDP will that fit the AEM uego sensor? I already have a DDP can i just get an extra bung from you and have it welded on? Where do you usually place it? Thanks in advance for the answers.

Yes the second O2 bung has a 18mm x 1.5 thread pitch , which will fit your universal o2 sensors and the wideband o2 sensors.

Do you have any that could be welded onto the DDP? i have one with only one port for the 02 sensor. Or what do you make them out of so i can have someone do it?

You can go to your local auto parts store and buy a O2 sensor bung, just make sure its the above thread size.
