I've searched and come up with nothing on a specific way to set the cams.
I know the crank has to be TDC at #1, but all I can find is "align the marks" for the cam gears.
thanks in advance, fellas.

Cams can only go one way. Make sure you're at tdc on 1st and your cams are at 12 o'clock.
Also, keeping tension on the intake side of the belt is a PITA, so put the belt on the crank and make sure its tight on the intake pulley...then wrap it around the rest.
what are you setting your crank to?

^ Hope it works????
Rotate the crank clockwise a few times then put it at TDC again and check the marks on the cam gears & crank pulley
if its all set at 0 spec THEN ur good. If not take belt off do it again.
It would suck to do all that work get the motor ready to be turned on and it won't start cuz the timing is off.
