What would do this?

I have a friends 88t that does this:

-Start up, runs fine... under idle, WOT, cruise, every thing.

-Turn the car off...

-Start it up & drive. It misses. Under boost, WOT, cruise, idle every thing.

-Let it cool down about 3-4 hours, start it. Runs fine again.

Help any one?

Flakey coil, CPS or wiring of said components would be a good place to start checking. Have you narrowed down what cylinder(s) is(are) missing?

Find out what cylinder is missing. Could be something stupid like a bad plug wire, but maybe not.
