Hello SM,
I am here to offer the community custom front facing intake manifolds, custom stainless exhaust manifolds, custom stainless exhausts, and custom CNC work. I have been on the forums since 2002 and building intake manifolds for roughly 6 years.

I currently sell the only fully custom long runner intake manifold for the 7M and will soon have a short and medium runner fully custom version to offer the community (within the month).

I am in an attempt to make my line fully custom and therefore require no cores saving the customer $25-$50 in shipping on their core returns to me. Not to mention that you can sell the manifolds on the forums for $20-$40! So a savings of $45-$90!

Here is a list of my intake manifolds for the 7M-GTE:
CNCed Fully Custom Long Runner: NO CORE Required!
Base Price: $650
Polished Housing: $100
Polished Runners and Housing: $200
ISC Flange: $50
CSI Flange: $50

Just curious, have you got any dyno graph comparisons showing the difference between short and long runner manifolds? My stock manifold has a wicked torque peak at 5000rpm, that often causes 2nd gear wheel spin. Assuming that a ported, cammed, and OS valve head would make my engine a tire roaster, is it better to go short runner to aim for a flatter torque curve to avoid peaky wheelspin on the street on a 500-600hp build?

P.S. I've seen the manifold you sold to Grimjack, very nice workmanship!

Wow, excellent craftsmanship. I've looked at pricing and your definately on the lower end as far as intake manifolds. Yours look a lot better too. You can look forward to my business in the future right now im in the middle of an expensive head gasket repair.

Hey Brad,
I do not have any dyno graphs of the difference. The catch to what you are trying to achieve with a car with wicked spool is that going to a FFIM cuts your IC piping in half AKA much faster spool! lol So there are 2 ways to go about it. I large plenum short or medium runner depending on if you want to keep the A/C paired with 3" IC piping. This will give you a large volume to fill thus delaying the onset of boost as well as making it hit a bit less hard to help with wheel spin. Essentially it will move your powerband curve up a bit thus giving your car a bit more time to to gain traction and giving you a bit more topend. Also with that setup you will be able to flow 800+rwhp without any changes to the IC piping and intake! Also you might want to go with a 3.25" to 3.5" TB.

Thanks guys!
Seth

Soon, very soon! I am actually designing a fully custom line right now!

Are you looking for a long runner manifold or short runner? With a Gt42 I am guessing you will want a long runner design to optimize performance. What size runners are you looking for 1.625" or 1.75"? Also are you planning to run (2) 46mm Tials?

Thanks for all the compliments and vouching!

Great work! You may have my business in the near future as I begin my build :icon_bigg.

I didn't see a mention of EGR. do you offer that as an option as well? If I were to order an intake manifold with ISC/CSI/(EGR) provisions, is it possible to position those underneath/out-of-sight? Reason being is that I plan on doing supporting mods such as this before my build (relatively stock engine), so I will still need EGR/ISC/CSI with the stock ECU. Later when I go standalone, I will be removing those and it would be nice to have the block-off plates out of sight for a clean look.

I do not offer EGR as a standard option but I can make it happen. Most people who are going to these manifolds are deleting the EGR so I rarely get a request for it. Mainly California based people as due to emissions. If you understand the workings and pros and cons of removing it then I would say go without it. But do some research on it first.

With the short and medium runner manifolds everything can be hidden on the under side. With the long runner it can not.

I look forward to your business!

Thanks,
Seth

Long runner, 1.75", not sure if just one WG or two right now, so I'll just say 2 to be safe.
Thanks.

Your looking at $1100 to $1200. Most likely around $1100. This is all out of 304 stainless, with proper collectors and fully divided!

If you want to send me a set of lower runners for the 2JZge I can do it. I am currently designing a CNC line for the 2JZ-GTE but don't have a line on the 2JZGE manifolds as well it is a much more limited market.

So both the Short & Med runner retains A/C ?

I could be wrong but i think the long runner is the on that allows you to keep your A/C

No long and medium runner manifolds retain the A/C but actually I will soon combine the short and meduim runner in a new CNC design so it will have the large plenum of a short runner but still allow to keep the A/C.

But as it stands now:
Long Runner: Lower Alt, A/C retained
Medium Runner: Lower Alt, A/C retained
Short Runner: Alt dropped to A/C, A/C deleted

Thanks,
Seth

Oil return works just as normal. When I build the manifold the runners actually part a bit to leave room for the oil line. I can get pictures if you like but I think I used a 45* at each end and then run a heat sheild sleeve on both the incoming -4an feed and -10an drain.

Thanks,
Seth

hey seth been working on the pillow mount.....pulled out autocad today figured i would put it together this way you would just have to load it up on the machine and go.

i did the modeling to scale so it should be perfect..let me know if there is anything special i need to do before completing and sending the file to you...

heres a quick preview

Hey Brandon took a look at the drawing. Honestly to make just a set of them like that on the CNC machine is going to be very spendy! Mainly the setup time will eat you alive(2hours programing, soft jaw cutting, and setup) Also the tapered design takes the machine a very long time and a lot of programing. If you can make it straight cut and make all the corners constant radius and round. Send me the drawing and I will whip it up in SW and get a real estimate but you are looking at $200-$300 plus materials to have it machined. And then an hour of my time to weld the stubs on. Maybe cheapest for me to make them by hand since they are a hidden piece anyways! Also we can do something like this being the prototypes and if people are interested in them after you try them out we can get a group of them made. But send me the drawing to sethron71@yahoo.com and I will open it up and see what I can do!

Thanks,
Seth

i see what you are saying seth, i will send the file to you tonight then i will simplify the shape and see what we can come up with. I had a feeling thats what you were going to tell me so ive had some backup ideas in the works, this one is a tad bit thick depending on the type of metal used i think it is some where around 15-20mm dropping it down to 6-8mm prob 8 will be best. anyways i will get you the file tonight and we can go from there
