Is this common to leak coolant from under the CPS and above the exhaust manifold?
I can't see exactly where it is coming from without starting to remove lots of things, so I was hoping someone could help pinpoint where to look?
I'm hoping it is impossible for the headgasket to blow that badly, right?

Any common places from supragirls post that I can check first before exploring each possible leak?
First thing I would look at are the turbo coolant lines.

no leaks there, thanks for a good start though, I have a feeling i'm going to be removing everything and replacing everything for peace of mind

Check thermostat housing where it goes onto the head, they like to leak from there too.
In that case, next would be the 90 deg hose that connects the hardline around the block to the water neck.

Mine started leaking at the water outlet as well. pretty easy to fix. I would recommend replacing the other cooling lines in the area when fixing this as well since they are easier to get to.

I've decided that now is a good time to replace the water pump, themostat, all hoses, radiator, all gaskets, and anything else that decides to break while i'm doing my replacing
I also understand that toyota red is the best coolant, Is it the best idea to go to the dealer and have them fully flush my system with their stuff? and how much might I be looking at?
I'm using Zerex G-05 HOAT coolant (50/50 mix)...superior to the Toyota stuff IMO.
Having said that, Toyota Red is a phosphated HOAT and works well in the 7M.
Here's another alternative:

Also a phosphated HOAT...might be a good alternative to Toyota Red (same chemistry). Only comes in a 50/50 premix.
