Hi from raleigh

Hey guys, my names Jesse. I just recently purchased an 86 Toyota Cressida with a manual trans. Its a project that im going to doing full suspension and a 7mgte in. Just wanted to say hello. Also if anyone can give me any advice other than headgasket advice, i would certainly apreciate it. If you have any spare parts or motors that might need some TLC, let me know. I am trying to do a budget build-up. So any help is apreciated. I would also like to get together with some of you guys. Here are some pics.

Welcome. Glad to see another 7mgte owner around. That should be a great project(engine swap). There are alot of people here in raleigh that can give you a lot of help with headgaskets and products also. If I can't help you I will point you in the right direction of experts for your engine swap or head gasket questions. We are lucky to have a few good group of guys locally that can swap engines with no problem. Pioneer on this forum I think use to own a cressida as well and he is one of the guys I'm refering to.

Welcome. I'm out in pittsboro, and prolly have most if not all the parts you would need to turbo that cressida, and MKIII revolution is a private shop that
does motor rebuilds mostly (among other stuff). They aren't a big retail store.

Hi Jesse, welcome to supramania. Sweet cressida man. OK, the first thing you have to do is get a black marker and write "JDM" on that stick holding up that hood. :) But seriously, good luck on the swap. Keep us posted and remember - we love pics.

Looks like we need to have another Raleigh meet. We've got a few new MK3's (and a Cressida) in the area. And we gotta see Pioneer's finished ride.

Hey Simon, I finally did my first mod! I picked up the Bosch BOV #110. Definitely a big difference. Also my girlfiriend's mom got me a MOMO shift knob. The real thing too. I'm on my way to mad jdm tyteness yo!

Jessie whats up man. Good to see another cressida guy in town. last year I did a 7MGTE MX83 cressida and did a writeup on it on thermactor.com You want to hang out that form to get some good info on the Cressida.

I am up for a meet. weather seems good right now. Can't do it this weekend. I have a customer car thats going under the knife tomorrow.
