View Full Version : 1J Swap (Some more Harness Qs)

Okay, so I have a 12 pin connector floating around, it looks like it comes from the loom the Ignitor is on. I'm assuming and pretty sure that it's a fusebox connector but was wondering where I plug this in or where to even start with this...?

Lol Any idea where this is supposed to plug in or am I supposed to sodder it into something else? Just a bunch of wires..not that scary :P

Looks like the EA2 connector to me

that is the ea2 connector. It goes to the fusebox. i have attached the .pdf. hopefully it works.

Problem is I don't see how I'm supposed to connect this to the fusebox? I guess we should just hardwire that in or?

yes you have to hard wire it to new connectors. if you have the 7m harness that fits the car then you can use to plugs from it to solder on. the only one you will most likely have to get a male and female connector is the alternater since the the plug from the harness goes directly to the alternator. but to answer your question you will have to wire it to fit the plugs in your car.

Yeah that's what ended up happening. Looks good, just trying to figure out the two plugs for the USDM part of the car... Should be firing it up tomorrow!
