Oops, wow I feel stupid. I thought that lip was from the Kaminari body kit :P Now I am curious... what company makes that?

Makes it? No one, it was an old original. I am thinking of making copies.

But thats nothing, what I am getting soon will be sure to attract attention. Plus I have two on the way. One of me, one to sell....

judging from the picture, I believe it's a B+M lip, almost half of the MKIIIs here in germany have them (at least I'm under the impression)....
like here (http://www.planet-supra.de/gfx/other/bm-lip1.jpg) or here (http://www.planet-supra.de/gfx/other/bm-lip2.jpg) or here (http://www.planet-supra.de/gfx/other/bm-lip3.jpg) etc...

Nope. East bear made the copy of the B&M. East bears are thin and pretty ratty.

Thanks to everyone. Its nice to still have some fans, after I have been away from the forums for so long. Before I had a lack of time because of too much work. Recently I've been very busy with a family issue. As long as the weather is nice this year, I will be out and about with the mk3 again, and getting some new pics/videos. Free time is a rare thing lately, so I have a pile of parts for the mk3 (and a few more on the way), another for the mk2, and I just finished with the A8. I pushed that project forward since the A8 is my daily driver/winter rat, and I'm always in it. Last weekend a friend and I install H&R coil overs on it, and after tomorrows alignment( then the 19s will go back on), the A8 will be completed ( other than tinting the windows). I'm still a supra guy, and the mk3 will always be a "project car" of mine until I can make it fly or something:)

Thanks. Other than the side skirts, lip, front bumper and nose, it is all stock paint. I tend to keep my cars clean :hs:

Its really good to see your car again. That was definately one of the MK3's that really made me fall in love with the car back when I was just a youngster driving around my beat up MK2. Your car is definately the most beautiful example of a pre 89 mk3 that ive ever seen. I think if more pre 89 owners saw this they wouldnt be trying to do the 89+ conversion. What side skirts are those. I really like how subtle and clean they look. They really flow with the car well and dont look gawdy like most skirts.

Dan Mac! good to see u on here. i don't know if you remember me. My name's Anthony, i talked to you last summer. I have the black 87 Supra. First off your car is just about the hottest MK3 i've ever seen. Im living in NC now but i'll be back up in NY this summer. I heard some rumors that u blew your turbo, thats why you haven't had the car out. this true? Talk to you later... Anthony

My mother died last summer and was sick for a while before that. There are more important things than my supras..

Besides turbos are cheap, that would not hold me back.

Ohh im sorry to hear that Dan, i didn't know. so do you think you are gonna have it on the road this summer or what?

I am planning on it, but am unsure of when.

I am working on a major update to the car which was held back because of my dedicated home theater construction. Plus the A8 was slightly damaged during the major north east windstorm that came through the week of valentines day. Because of the minor cosmetic damage, and the car being in the paint shop I am taking advantage of it and get the whole car repainted. Same basic color but with power silver pearlescent in it. 3 coats of clear and block sanding in between all coats for a show car finish ( I hired a model for this years waterfest, since I will be showing the A8 ). Not to mention my mothers funeral costs, and all related things to burying a loved one. Those three things have taken up many thousands of dollars of play money, so the mk3 will be on the road SOMETIME this summer. Definitely not this spring.
