OEM and Tuned by Tommy Kaira cannot really be used in the same sentence. Toyota never used this knob, therefore it's not OEM.

Pretty much every Toyota manual transmission shift knob for the last 50 years has had the same thread, so that's not really an indication of anything per se.

As far as I am aware, it's just another aftermarket shift knob.

Tommy Kaira was a tuning shop in Japan. I've seen Skyline's and Suburu's but never a supra. I'd love to see one. But I feel like the thread pitch is generic and prolly came off another car.

I didn't buy this knob but the guy I was chatting with on FB said he use to own a RHD Tommy Kaira tuned supra and this knob came off his car that had an R154. He said the thread pitch was the same as the R154.

The side profile of the knob looks very similar to stock. Probably an OEM knob re wrapped and badged as Tommy Kaira
