Hello, sorry for the long thread name.
I'm about to reinstall the Targa seals.
I've been painting my supra for 4 years now... only :)
But that means that I removed everything before paint. So in order to install the Targa seals I first have to install the trim which the seal attaches to. On this trim there is a seal which seals between the trim and the body. What do you use if you replace this seal?

The pictures shows one of the trims with the stock seal and where it goes on the a-pillar.

Thanks.

Looks like the tar stuff. Should be like some butyl rubber or something similar use to seal head lights. It also works good for the corners to go under the targa seal so they seal better

After thinking about this way too long, I've decided to do like seoul4korea and use some sort of FIPG.
I've found something which is polyurethan based and sold as sealent which can be submerged in water :)
