With the success and growth of last year’s Supra’s In Vegas (SIV) we have started organizing the event early and the dates are locked in. SIV is back for a Third year of fun, shenanigans, great cars and good friends.

Our goal is the same as always, to have a meet/gathering for the Supra community and simply have some good old fun

This is not an event for profit, sponsors contribute to the event and it all goes back to the Supra Community. The funds collected for registration go towards awards, trophies, etc. We had a great time the last two years and look forward to this year with the continued support of FSR Motorsports and Driftmotion and of course the Supra community.

The dates are Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6, 2013.

The plan is simple, cruise out to Vegas Thursday night, the night will provides a nice low traffic cruise and cover from most of the authority. We will meet up for the Red Rock cruise and grub on Friday, Friday night at the drag strip for open runs, have a Show n Shine and Dyno runs on Saturday with a nice surprise we are working on, and go home Sunday. The evenings are open to suggestion or just to get together and chill with good people.

Event Hotel: EXCALIBUR: we have reserved a block of 20 rooms at the Excalibur. Check in is Thursday night (Oct 3, 2013), Check out Sunday (Oct 6, 2013). Rooms total is $358 for the THREE nights this includes tax and resort fees (all Vegas hotels charge this now).

Parking does have security (they were great last year can gave us no hassle) and the Excalibur is located in the middle of all the fun (Luxor, MGM, NyNy, etc, all within walking distance). Hotel reservations must be made through the link below, the first night must be paid for and the balance is paid when you check in. Share a room with a mate or mates to save. Here are the details:


GROUP Name: XSUPRA2013

Reservation must be made by August 31, 2013, Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. A $20 charge is added for any additional occupants. The rooms have a maximum occupancy of 4 people allowed in a room, regardless of age. A mandatory resort services fee of $15.00 per room, per day, plus-tax will be applied (included in the $358.00). The fee includes free in room high-speed (wired) internet access; two free drink coupons per stay; unlimited local, domestic long distance, and 800 calls; daily fitness center admission (locker room, Jacuzzi, and steam room available for an additional cost); free daily newspaper; and free incoming faxes (subject to change at any time).

At the time of booking online your guests will be required to provide a credit card for the first night room rate plus tax. The First night is $48.00 plus tax. Total for the weekend is $358.00 this includes the Resort fees and Tax.

Below is the schedule we have planned for the weekend:

Thursday, October 3: Leave for Vegas, the plan is to leave with the cover of night. Many of us work or have school so missing one day is better than two. The Caravan from So-Cal will meet in Barstow, at the TRAVEL AMERICA (TA) off of Lenwood Rd (off the 15 North), at 10 pm. At 10:30 pm we head out to Vegas, arrive, check-in and sleep.

Friday, October 4: Meet at the Excalibur Parking structure (top floor) at 11 am , roll down the 159 towards Red Rock Visitor Center take our traditional Scenic Loop Dr. for a nice “Spirited” 13 mile, safe cruise with a line of awesome Supra’s of all generations and finish off for lunch at Red Rock Casino Feast Buffet.

This was a lot of fun last year, with over 30 Supra’s cruising through Red Rock. Due to the awesome numbers, we outgrew our last SIV Lunch location. Talked to the Red Rock Casino and they will be accommodating us at their FEAST Buffet.

We have reserved their hall for our Luncheon and the cost will be $16.00 per person. This includes the tax, buffet, gratuity and your drink. We need to have a head count confirmed no later than August 31, 2013. If you plan to attend please submit your $16.00 by that date. I have to turn in a final count by then, we will not be able to add anyone past that date.

Below is a map of the drive. Red Rock Casino is right next to the exit we get off on to get to Red Rock National Park.



Friday, October 4, NIGHT: After the cruise we relax and prepare for some fun at the Drag Strip. Meet at 6pm at the Excalibur parking structure and roll out to Vegas Motor Speedway. Open “Legal” Drags open up at 7pm and run till Midnight.

The cost is $15.00 per car and $5.00 per additional person, paid directly to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We had a blast here last year, we were all able to park together, hang out and watch the cars run. The line was not that long so I know some of us ran at least 5 times that night.

As always there will be an Award for the fastest times, for MKII (lets go Mark II guys), MKIII and MKIV.

Rules are simple:
- Car must be driven to the track – no trailers
- Must have valid license plate, matching registration, and drivers license
- Spectators are $5.00 each and it is $15.00 to run your car and park in the SIV area (PAID DIRECTLY TO THE TRACK OFFICIALS)

Saturday, October 5: Show n Shine Meet and Dyno Challenge:

The Show n Shine will begin at 11am this year and go till 2 pm. Thanks to the great participation from everyone in the Supra Community, we have outgrown our previous location, with over 50 cars in attendance last year, we expect that number to keep growing this year.

We should have the location confirmed, 100% by this weekend.

For the Show and Shine we will be judging ourselves, as we have done every year, so all are encouraged to participate. Haulin Balls is planning to be there for lunch, serving up some awesome sandwiches (great food truck, wife and I ate for under $20), and last year they were amazing and loved the event.

As last year, the Registration fee is $25.00. This goes towards trophies and prizes for the event. This year we have a new sponsor, Limitless Design, that wil be making some amazing custom rolled stel trophies. Show n Shine categories are posted below:

Dyno Challenge:

Times for the Dyno Challenge will be after the Show N Shine, from 3pm - 7pm, allowing plenty of time to go from the Show to the Dyno. The Dyno Challenge may change locations as it will not be at the same spot as the Show n’ Shine. We will have more information soon.

Saturday Night: 8pm: End of SIV Dinner - TBA - This will be a chance to hang out with all our Supra family. The location will be announced as we get closer. This will not be a prepaid event, each attendee will be responsible for their admission.

October 6: Safe trip Home.

Javier will again be designing the official SIV shirt. He made them last year and were awesome, they will be $16.00 per shirt.

FSR Motorsports and Driftmotion are both on board again and will be joining us for the weekend and as our OFFICIAL SPONSORS. Again no donations or sponsorships are being asked for, just the $25.00 Registration fee per person. If you know anyone that would like to help with the event, please have them contact me (below)
