I come from a land down under
Cool, it's a PITA but you only need to do it once!

I also found using 4x flat (2 at each end) washers the same thickness as the scraper rails on the front and rear cases gave a much better seal with RTV as it stops the pan distorting.

yae that was my plan ian because i have steel stamped pan so it will bend easy

on a side note

was installing my buckets and shims today and found out i had very sticky bucket so i made this tool and spun it with a little bit of assembly lube

might have got tiny bit tweek when she got welded

good to go now thou ( warning to other people never hone these with a stone or file since there anodized) what i did was tad different

3 1/2 to 4 inc to match my exhaust

but today I am going to fire her up

sad part is I can not get any nitromethane here in Canada far as I have found out

for my Rufe cocktail mix for my meth injection

so it will just have to be a 50/50 mix

Do you have a trick to getting that heat wrap to stick so well?

yes there is away to make is stick like it is steel wrap

what ya need is heat gun or gf's hair dryer heat guns works the best thou

the trick is to wet the wrap then use the gun to heat it so it shrinks and tightens to the pipe

stick heat gun in pipe then watch it strink from the heat

that pretty much about it

Well Since my old ported head was destroy from lean out Grrrrrrrrrrr

I got my self a new head to play with 92 casting as well

and some well pictures of group A heads porting job that I took my self

I figure I will put about 20 plus hours into this head alone and I will have to get custom pistons to boot since so much will be removed

Well I whip out the big slab of meat today and started to work on one of the chamber's It's really close to being done.
All I have to do is cc it then call up JE and get me some pistons made up

the plans for the head are

stock size 2jz vavles
thermo coat the chambers
re grind my bc 272 cam's since the 2jz valve's are longer "maybe"
solid buckets
plop my old BC tie springs and retainers

hahaha nice. It's probably because the trucks are always alive and drive-able. I know because that's how it is for me too. My Supra is being worked on and my truck is always running.
